Enduring Powers of Attorney

Coupe Bradbury Solicitors

It is no longer possible to create an EPA, however, if you created a valid one before 1 October 2007, this can still be used by your attorneys to assist you in managing your property and financial affairs.  After this date, lasting power of attorney (LPA) had to be made.

If the person who created the EPA has lost or starts to lose mental capacity there is a requirement for the attorneys to register it with the Office of the Public Guardian.

Please do not hesitate to contact our team on 01253 922777 or email: james.patterson@coupe-bradbury.com if you would like advice regarding the enduring power of attorney.
